Andy and I worked together at Living Security, where I led Engineering and he was an early UI/UX developer on the team. Andy played a key role in bringing the Unify product to life, combining strong technical skills with a genuine curiosity about emerging technologies and how to apply them thoughtfully to real-world software development. He cares deeply about user experience and contributed heavily to the design of UI elements and workflows, helping shape a product that was both intuitive and robust.
Andy will respectfully advocate for what he believes is the right technical or product approach while remaining open and collaborative. His calm, friendly demeanor made him a pleasure to work with, especially in the fast-paced environment of an early product team. I’d happily work with him again and recommend him without hesitation.

I worked with Andy for four years at Living Security, where he ultimately became the lead Front-end and UI/UX engineer for our flagship Human Risk Management (HRM) product. He would be a tremendous asset to any design, engineering, or product team.
Andy has a strong foundation in design principles, is an excellent collaborator, and has a real talent for taking ideas or product concepts and translating them into thoughtful, customer-centered solutions. He consistently balances creativity with practicality and brings both rigor and empathy to his work.
Beyond his technical skills, Andy is simply a great person to work with — thoughtful, reliable, and a strong contributor to both remote and in-person teams. I highly recommend him.

I had the privilege of working with Andy at Living Security for over 4 years. I often collaborated on features with Andy and was thoroughly impressed by his ability to plan and execute with unclear or changing requirements. Andy is the definition of a team player and was always willing to pitch in where needed, even when his plate was already full.
Beyond being a great engineer, Andy is a fantastic human being. He’s genuine and cares deeply about his coworkers. I always looked forward to chatting with Andy online and the few times we met in person. He’s a joy to be on a team with.

I got to work with Andy at Markit Digital from 2013 to 2019, and I can say without hesitation: Andy is a legend.
When Andy joined our design team, he brought a rare and powerful combination: a designer who could code at a high level. His work inspired me to further deepen my understanding of web development and building interactive prototypes. That influence has been a constant inspiration to me.
Beyond his technical prowess, Andy is exceptionally articulate about his craft. He can explain not just what he’s doing, but why he’s doing it a particular way. It’s a quality that makes him an excellent collaborator. I had the pleasure of working on a project where I handled design and Andy led development. His knowledge, skill, clarity, optimism, and can-do attitude made the entire experience a joy.
Andy sets a high standard. He’s the kind of person who elevates everyone around him simply by being excellent at what he does and generous with that expertise. I would jump at the chance to work with him again, and any organization would be incredibly fortunate to have him.

I’ve worked closely with Andy for over 2 years in teams big and small. He is an inventive problem-solver who thoughtfully balances user needs with technical constraints. Andy’s skills come together in the magical space between design and execution; he gets how to make a design both real and elegant. I look forward to working with him again in the future.

Andy was a game-changer when he joined our team. He has an exceptional UX/UI background that coupled powerfully with his engineering skills. While completing all of his direct responsibilities with gusto, he also made enormous contributions to our design language efforts and established new working norms that propelled the UX:Engineering workflow forward. As a growth stage company, the value that he provided here cannot be overstated.
Andy is also an absolute joy to work with. He is all smiles and ambition on morning standups and someone you want leading your team when tackling large problems. He will brighten the room, virtual or IRL.

I had the opportunity to work with Andy as a Principal UI/UX Engineer, and he is an exceptionally strong engineer and teammate. He consistently delivered thoughtful, well-designed solutions to complex UI and architectural challenges, with a deep understanding of frontend systems and an ability to solve hard problems cleanly without overcomplicating them.
Andy is also a fantastic mentor and a true bastion of knowledge. He’s always willing to take the time to explain his thinking, whether walking through design decisions or breaking down tricky implementation details, which raised the quality of my work and the team overall. I learned a great deal from working with him, and I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Andy is an excellent person to work with, always willing to share his knowledge and help others. He is a master at finding elegant solutions, it was a pleasure to work with him.
